Little Way Speech Therapy offers private pay services for families seeking flexible, personalized care.
Private Pay
Private pay allows families to access services directly without needing a referral or being limited by insurance visit caps.
Sessions may take place in your home, at a private school, or virtually depending on what best supports your child.
Session Rates
Pricing is transparent with no hidden fees. Advance notice is given for any additional travel costs.
Evaluation Required: An evaluation is required before starting therapy. However, it can also be provided without the intent to schedule further sessions, as when seeking a second opinion.
Travel Fee
For longer travel distances or consistently high-traffic areas, a $40 travel fee may be applied.
This may include locations such as National City, Chula Vista, Del Mar, Escondido, Lakeside, and Alpine.
You will always be informed in advance if this fee applies.
Flexible Payment Options
While insurance is not directly accepted, superbills are available upon request. These detailed invoices can be submitted to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
Your child may also qualify for services funded through the San Diego Regional Center. Apply here.
Virtual Sessions
Virtual sessions are available to families anywhere within the state of California.
Online speech therapy is not recommended for children under age 5, as well as children with attention deficits, lisps or /s/ production, or significantly low speech intelligibility. Progress may be limited in these areas without in-person sessions.
Good candidates for virtual speech therapy include clients working on /r/ production, school-aged language, fluency, voice, and social pragmatic skills.
